All Shaws basket strainers are manufactured in Italy and designed specifically to suit the thick walls of Shaws fireclay sinks. Basket strainers are available in a range of premium finishes to complement your tapware selection, with each featuring a signature Shaws ceramic insignia.

Please note that all metal basket strainer finishes – including Raw Brass – feature a durable PVD coating. The only exception is the White basket strainer, which is manufactured from ABS plastic rather than metal. When ordering a basket strainer in a specific finish, your order will also include a matching overflow cover ring in the same finish.

To maintain the appearance and longevity of PVD finishes, avoid the use of corrosive cleaning products including bleach, hydrogen peroxide, hydrofluoric acid, chlorine-based cleaners, or cleaners that produce active oxygen. These substances may damage the finish. We recommend cleaning with a soft cloth and pH-neutral liquid soap only.
